We prefer session fees be paid in full at booking time. This allows us to get right to the session without worrying about silly things such as money. We will however accept a non refundable retainer at the booking time. You will then get an invoice a few days before your session for the balance which will be due at or before your session.
Session fees are for the time and talent of the photographer. Including the actual session time as well as the consultation, image prep/backup and the ordering session. No products are included unless mentioned in one of our multi-session packages.
Sorry no. Session fees just cover the time for the session, meetings and image prep. You will receive a web sized, watermarked (logo in corner) image for each image you purchase a print or product of. You may also purchase high res copies of your files as well.
Your ordering session can be scheduled with in a week of your photography session. At this time you will view a slideshow of 20-40 selected images from your session. Then we will assist you in narrowing down your selection for purchasing.
The best time is between 32-34 weeks. I have done them earlier and of course later, the best answer is when you feel comfortable.
Newborns are best with in the first two weeks, 5-10 days being the best. This is the time when they are “typically” more sleepy, bendy and more cooperative. This is not to say you can not bring them in later. I know moms sometimes just don’t want to travel so soon after birth.
Newborns are not like other subjects, they are not going to do exactly what you want them to when you want them to 🙂 There will be times to feed, times to rock baby to back to sleep and of course time for those little messes.
